Temperature Change and Carbon Dioxide Since 1945

Plot of mean global surface temperature and carbon dioxide since 1945.

Greenhouse Gas Theory cannot explain clearly why changes in mean annual surface temperature (red bars) were essentially constant from 1945 to 1970, rose sharply to 1998 and have remained essentially constant since 1998 while concentrations of carbon dioxide (CO2) (blue line) continue to rise (NOAA, 2014).
